Test before you send

Preview each contact's next email, send yourself a test of every step, and run an optional full test of threading and stop-on-reply before you start.

  1. Preview: click SheetBlast → 3. Preview next emails. The Preview tab shows each contact’s next email, filled in. The note column flags problems such as “Missing value for: company”.

  1. Send yourself a test: click any cell in a contact’s row, then SheetBlast → 4. Send me a test of the selected contact. Every step of their sequence arrives in your inbox, labelled [TEST step 1], [TEST step 2] and so on. The contact isn’t emailed and their row doesn’t change.
  2. Full test, optional: this checks threading and stop-on-reply for real.
    • Make a sequence called test with 3 steps and delay_days = 0.01 (about 15 minutes).
    • Add one contact: a second address of yours that isn’t connected to SheetBlast.
    • Press ▶ Start sending during your send window. Step 2 should arrive in the same thread about 15 minutes after step 1.
    • Reply from that address, then run Check for replies now. The row should switch to REPLIED and step 3 should never arrive.
    • Press ■ Stop sending, then delete the test contact and sequence.

Don’t add your own sending address as a real contact. SheetBlast treats your own sent mail as a reply and stops after step 1.
