Getting started: copy SheetBlast and authorise it

Copy SheetBlast into your own Google Drive, open the SheetBlast menu and authorise the script, including Google's "unverified app" screen.

You need a Google account (free Gmail or Google Workspace). You need it even if you send from Hostinger.

  1. Open the copy link from your purchase email and click Make a copy. The Sheet and its script are copied into your own Google Drive. Nobody else, including us, can see it.

Make a copy dialog
  1. Open your copy. After a few seconds a SheetBlast menu appears to the right of Help. If it doesn’t, reload the page.
  2. Click SheetBlast → 1. Set up sheets. Google asks you to authorise the script:
    • Choose your Google account.
    • You’ll see “Google hasn’t verified this app”. This is normal. The script now lives in your own account, and the “developer” shown is your own email address. Click Advanced → Go to SheetBlast (unsafe).
    • Review the permissions and click Allow:
      • send email as you
      • read your email, so it can detect replies and bounces
      • edit this spreadsheet
      • see your email address
      • show its dialogs inside the Sheet
      • run on a timer
      • connect to an external service, which is used only for Hostinger

  1. Click SheetBlast → 1. Set up sheets again. The first click only did the authorisation. You’ll see “SheetBlast is set up” and these tabs: Settings, Senders, Sequences, Contacts, DoNotContact and Log.
  2. Open the Settings tab and change TIMEZONE to your own (an IANA name such as Europe/London or America/New_York). It defaults to Europe/Tallinn, and your send window uses it.

Nothing is sent until you press ▶ Start sending.
