Add your contacts

Fill the Contacts tab: the columns you need, how to paste a list from a CSV or another sheet, and how SheetBlast skips invalid and duplicate emails.

Open the Contacts tab. Each row is one person. Fill the columns with dark headers; SheetBlast fills the grey ones.

ColumnRequired?Example / notes
emailYes[email protected]
sequenceYesMust match a name in the Sequences tab, e.g. intro
first_nameRecommendedAnn
last_nameOptionalLee
companyOptionalAcme
from_emailOptionalWhich sender to use. Empty = first enabled sender; it’s then locked to that row so all follow-ups come from the same address.
timezoneOptionale.g. Europe/London, America/New_York. The send window follows the recipient’s time. A misspelt timezone is marked ERROR, never guessed.
custom1, custom2OptionalAnything you want to merge into the email, e.g. a personal first line

Pasting a list from a CSV or another sheet

  1. Paste starting in the first empty row, below existing contacts. Always add new contacts at the bottom.
  2. Paste one column at a time under the matching header, or arrange your source columns in the same order first.
  3. Fill sequence for every new row: type intro in the first cell and drag the fill handle down.

You can add your own columns (e.g. city, pain_point) and use them as merge tags: {{city}}.

SheetBlast automatically skips invalid emails, duplicates and anyone on the DoNotContact tab, and marks them SUPPRESSED.
